TERM 4, 2019 EVENTS & PHOTOS The bushfire crisis has been a time of immense tragedy and loss, and we're deeply concerned by the devastation it has brought to Australian communities. Clarence Valley Conservatorium through the generous giving of our audiences at the last few Concerts for 2019 was able to donate $800 to the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal and our downriver students who performed at the Yamba Markets raised $360 that was donated to the Rural Fire Service. Some highlights of these Concerts are featured below.

Downriver Spectacular Guitar students from several schools around the Clarence Valley came together for the first time at Yamba Bowling Club to present the Downriver Spectacular. The massive end of year concert led by Ryan Enns featured students from Yamba, Gulmarrad, Chatsworth Island, Harwood, Maclean and South Grafton Public Schools, St. James Yamba and Maclean High School.

Ensembles Concert The Music Ensembles of the Conservatorium showcased their work for the year, featuring performances by ensembles Strings 'n' Things, Guitarchestra, Flute Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band and three CVCon choirs. The ensembles came together for a special finale item, Earth written by Hans Zimmer.

St Cecilia's Day Concert The teachers of the Conservatorium took to the stage to honour the Patroness Saint of Musicians. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Ensembles Concert and St Cecilia's Day concerts - what fantastic concerts they were. Stay tuned for this year's St Cecilia's concert later in November.
