Schwinghammer Scholarship 2021 Congratulations to Tessa Darby, who was awarded the CVCon 2021 Carl Frederick Schwinghammer Scholarship. The Schwinghammer Scholarhip is awarded to a student in Year 11 or 12 who is studying music for the HSC and who is an exceptional musician.

The Addams Family Young @ Part Our drama and voice students are hard at work preparing for their upcoming performances of The Addams Family Young @ Part. The musical is based on the characters created for the famous TV show with a few additions and a few surprises for the familiar characters. The full Broadway musical has been masterfully turned in to a one hour performance created especially for young people to sing. Directed by Bronwyn Berman and with Music Direction by Adam Wills the performances are shaping up to be something special. Three performances only.

Term 2 Kidzjam (2-5 years)
Led by Mel Smith the CVCon Early Childhood Music program provides children with an opportunity to discover, learn and have fun. The program enables a development of a musical appreciation through vocal, instrumental and aural activities. Kidzjam creates an enjoyable musical experience for both children and carers. Each week activities will be focused on a different musical subject which enables them to hear, see and play a variety of different musical instruments.

2021 Sunday Series Concerts The 2021 Sunday Series of concerts is a special collection of concerts featuring Clarence Valley Conservatorium tutors and special guests. The first concert on the series featured flute tutor Sharon Davidge and Bronwyn Berman and included a special trio performed by Sharon and herself. The second concert will be performed by Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium Artistic Director Patrick Brearley and pianist Maggie Pang. Patrick is a highly accomplished viola player who makes the viola sing. The third concert is Greta Enns and Jayne Logan performing piano duos and pieces for piano and piano accordion. Both Jayne and Greta are fantastic pianists and the combination of piano and piano accordion is something to behold.
