This year has taken many things from us, birthday celebrations, live concerts, even spending time with people that we love. However, COVID-19 cannot cancel the spirit of the holiday season and the fun that is giving and receiving gifts. Clarksville’s small businesses have done everything they can to support the community while keeping their staff and customers safe. This holiday we as a community need to come together to return the favor. Each year we encourage readers to shop local. This year it’s especially important that we seek out gifts that support small businesses in and around the Clarksville community. Shopping small adds up, according to a 2020 study, small businesses generate $75 of local economic return for every $100 spent with them.
