GFR Media, empresa líder en comunicaciones, ANNOUNCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT NURSING PROGRAM DIRECTOR Sagrado is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and exceptional academic nursing leader to serve as the next Director of our Nursing Program. The new Director will serve as the chief academic and executive officer of the Program and will be part of the Provost’s Leadership Team. Responsibilities include the strategic planning and development of new graduate and undergraduate programs, as well as a robust bilingual (Spanish/English) curriculum. This visionary leader will be expected to bring a highly regarded Nursing program to its next level of excellence and growth. The Director will provide leadership and counsel to the Nursing faculty, students, and staff, and will serve as the Program’s primary advocate to the community and beyond. That leadership will be based on understanding of the fundamental principles, mission, and values of the university. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring trends in nursing education to strategically plan, develop and implement the expansion of nursing programs, ensure adherence to accreditation standards, and establish community partnerships for ongoing collaboration and support of the Nursing Program. CANDIDATE PROFILE • Earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field, and an earned master’s degree in Nursing. • Eligible for licensing as a Registered Nurse. • Experience with CCNE accreditation process is preferable. • Relevant administrative ability in a nursing baccalaureate and advanced degree program with demonstrated leadership ability. • Experience teaching in a nursing baccalaureate and advanced degree program with demonstrated commitment to furthering excellence in teaching and nursing practice.
• Appropriate academic experience and scholarly work enabling possession of the rank of at least Associate Professor with application for tenure. • Significant involvement in professional activities (e.g., research, national/international presentation of scholarly work, professional committee membership in national, community and academic organizations). • A commitment to furthering the Nursing Program and its mission regarding excellence in curriculum, program expansion, and support of faculty in academic and professional growth. • Completely bilingual (English/Spanish).
