Restaurant Los Yeyos, Inc. has 1 position available as a Food Service Manager to work at 353 Calle San Francisco Local 1 y 2, San Juan PR 00901. The Food Service Manager is directly responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all kitchen functions, among these: monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner; performing food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary; maintaining food and equipment inventories and keeping inventory records, as well as estimating food, liquor, wine, and other beverage consumption to anticipate amounts to be purchased or requisitioned; scheduling and receiving food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity; coordinating assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation; establishing standards for personnel performance and customer service; and scheduling staff hours and assigning duties.
The Kitchen Manager will supervise the activities of the kitchen assistant, bartender, waiters/ waitresses, as well as the kitchen maintenance worker.

Minimum Requirements:
MD or Ph.D. or EdD from an accredited institution.
Leadership experience in an academic medical center.
Seven years of teaching experience in a higher education institution.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in curriculum innovation, innovative teaching strategies, and research experience.
Collaborative and consultative approach to decision-making; Sound judgment, perspective, and unimpeachable integrity;
Stellar interpersonal skills, including public speaking and writing;
Fundraising track record or exceptional interpersonal skills that would indicate high potential in this area; Ability to anticipate trends in medical education and to seize opportunities with alacrity;
A data-driven approach to learning and operational effectiveness;
Public or professional leadership and advocacy in the health professions;
Involvement with regulatory oversight, ideally including contract management and negotiations; Achievements in and commitment to a diverse and inclusive environment that supports academic and operational excellence.
Scholarly record of accomplishment that suggests an understanding of the research process in academic medical centers.
Experience with accreditation processes relevant to medical school programs;
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
