Abarca Technologies, LLC, seeks an Associate Enterprise Architect for work to be conducted in San Juan, PR. Main responsibility: Strategically design and implement information systems and networked software architectures that support core Abarca functions and assure their high availability. In addition, you will provide technical leadership and knowledge from strategic decision-making down to the project management level, working closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business. This role also best practices. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or engineering, as well as 3 years of combined experience in the areas of software engineering, web development, computer programming, software architecture or any suitable combination, are required. The candidate should also have knowledge of SOLID principles of Software Engineering, including knowledge in different software design philosophies and patterns; knowledge of design patterns for Microservices; knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps; knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java and/or JavaScript; knowledge of frontend code architectures and development with frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue; knowledge of containerization strategies; knowledge of message queue/broker applications, such as Apache Kafka, Azure Scheduler and RabbitMQ; knowledge of Application Performance Tuning, SQL Server, Database Design, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures; experience working with TCP/ IP, routing and load balancer; experience with any interface engines such as Mirth Connect and/or ConnectMate.
