JOB OPPORTUNITY. Restaurant Los Yeyos, Inc. has 1 position available as a Bartender to work at 353 Calle San Francisco Local 1 y 2, San Juan PR 00901. The Bartender is directly responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff. The main tasks include stocking bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws; cleaning glasses, utensils, bar equipment, bars, work areas, and tables and take out the trash; take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons; check ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks; serve wine, cocktails, and bottled or draft beer; prepare ingredients for garnishing drinks, such as fruits and herbs; serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar; collect payment for drinks and food served; plan, organize, and control the operations of the bar; balance cash receipts; create drink recipes; and order or requisition liquors and supplies. It is also important for the Bartender to have great customer service in order to deal with unruly customers and limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking.
