Con M-Clan y La Fuga como reclamo principal cerró con un balance muy positivo al agotar en taquilla los abonos. Un sold out más que se unía al de los Palco Rock y la zona de acampada. Con el concierto de Sidecars ya se había llegado al aforo del día anterior, síntoma evidente del buen estado del festival que se demostró en el momento del concierto de Leiva con un recinto lleno absoluto.

El público responde así de positivo a un festival que mantiene su esencia exclusivamente rock y que este año incluía novedades notables como césped artificial, un tercer espacio musical y programación gratuita en la playa.
Montgorock Xàbia Festival se afianza en esta quinta edición con la cifra de 13.000 asistentes reunidos en un fin de semana, como un evento musical referente que da el pistoletazo de salida a la temporada de festivales del Mediterráneo. Con sus 10.000m2 de recinto cubierto de césped artificial; dos escenarios (Desperados y Sona la
Dipu); un nuevo tercer espacio musical (Jam Stage The Rooms) donde artistas del cartel han interpretado versiones y han colaborado entre ellos; y el valor añadido de ubicarse a escasos metros del mar, combinado con un cartel exclusivamente rock, hacen del festival xabiense un evento imprescindible.

A destacar en esta edición, la presencia de bandas valencianas como Los Zigarros, Santero y Los Muchachos, Badlands, The Saltitos, Corazones Eléctricos, Peranoia, Gran Quivira y Holy Paul; y momentos estelares como las colaboraciones de Leiva con Sidecars y de Ovidi de Los Zigarros con Leiva. También muy emotiva la hermandad entre las
bandas del cartel mencionándose unos a otros en el escenario, y los agradecimientos lanzados por artistas como Carlos Tarque de M-Clan que hablaba de Montgorock Xàbia Festival como un “festival hecho con el corazón” y Leiva de un “festival romántico al que se le agradece su apuesta por el rock”.
