Diego Guerrero, nacido en Vitoria en 1975 y formado en espacios como la sede central de Martín Berasategui en Lasarte inauguró el restaurante DSTAgE en Madrid el 1 de julio de 2014, bajo un proyecto propio bautizado como DSTAgE Concept. Después de liderar desde el año 2002 el restaurante El Club Allard donde consiguió dos estrellas Michelin. DSTAgE, que ha supuesto una evolución en su carrera profesional , se acerca más a una concepción personal de un restaurante de alta cocina contemporánea dónde el verdadero lujo reside en la cercanía y la naturalidad.

Desde su apertura, este espacio gastronómico ha atendido a unos 93.000 clientes frente a 160.000 solicitudes online de reservas, mientras firma un balance que suma varias distinciones. Una de ellas son las dos estrellas Michelin, la primera obtenida a los cuatro meses de abrir en noviembre de 2014, correspondiente a la edición 2015 de la guía francesa y la segunda en la edición de este año 2017 en noviembre de 2016.

Además, Guerrero ha recibido el reciente tercer sol de la Guía Repsol y la tercera EME de Guía Metrópoli (editada por el diario ‘El Mundo’), Premio Metrópoli Restaurante del año 2017, Premio Metrópoli 2015 ‘Restaurante Revelación’ y una mención de honor como ‘Restaurante del año’ concedida por esta revista, así como el premio a Mejor Chef y Mejor Restaurante por los usuarios de la Revista Gourmet. Primer restaurante de Madrid, cuarto de España y Premio Travellers ́Choice 2016 por Tripadvisor. En septiembre de 2016, lanza su nuevo espacio creativo diseñado y liderado por Diego Guerrero bajo el nombre de DSPOT. Estudio enfocado a la creatividad en torno a la alta gastronomía y todos los aspectos que rodean a la misma, como son la puesta en escena, el diseño, las técnicas y los productos. En noviembre de 2016 se publica el primer libro de Diego Guerreo “Irreductible”, por Montagud Editores. En él se narra todo el proceso evolutivo y creativo que le ha llevado a crear un proyecto como DSTAgE.
