Portocolom, un bello pueblecito pesquero Mallorquí, con el puerto natural más grande de la isla, es la localización idílica de este hotel diseñado por el interiorista valenciano Carlos Serra. Un cinco estrellas frente al mar, en el que los colores tierra, la artesanía y las texturas naturales son los grandes protagonistas.

La sensación de calidez y tranquilidad impregna cada rincón, desde el mismo momento del checking, sobre una barra de barro esmaltado a mano y bajo grandes lámparas artesanales, el huésped se traslada a un espacio diseñado para relajarse y disfrutar de la slow life. Sofás y sillones de jacinto acuático dan la bienvenida en el amplio hall de la entrada, en el que destaca una gran estantería de obra, utilizada como expositor de productos de venta y un impresionante panel vinílico de dunas de arena dorada. 38

The feeling of warmth and tranquility permeates every corner, from the very moment of checking in, on a hand-enameled clay bar and under large handmade lamps, the guest moves into a space designed to relax and enjoy the slow life. Water hyacinth sofas and armchairs welcome you in the spacious entrance hall, which highlights a large built-in bookcase, used as a display of products for sale, and an impressive vinyl panel of golden sand dunes.

Divido en dos edificios se reparten las 60 habitaciones diseñadas en colores naturales, en las que destacan los cabezales de macramé realizados a mano con diferentes motivos geométricos. Cada habitación esta concebida para transmitir esa sensación de paz que ha buscado el interiorista jugando con colores y texturas a través de los tejidos y la sencilla decoración de las habitaciones. Los baños siguen la misma línea, con bancadas de piedra y duchas revestidas de azulejos de barro hechos a mano y esmaltado artesanal. También los paneles de macramé están presentes en algunos de los baños con la finalidad de separar espacios.

Divided into two buildings, the 60 rooms designed in natural colors are distributed, in which the macramé headboards made by hand with different geometric motifs stand out. Each room is designed to convey that sense of peace that the interior designer has sought, playing with colors and textures through the fabrics and the simple decoration of the rooms. The bathrooms follow the same line, with stone benches and showers lined with handmade clay tiles and handcrafted enamel. Macramé panels are also present in some of the bathrooms in order to separate spaces.

La gran piscina central realizada en piedra ulldecoa, rodeada de una amplia esplanada con hamacas y sombrillas y una zona de relax con camas bajo una estructura de madera, son el eje sobre el que gira este hotel mallorquí.

The large central pool made of Ulldecoa stone, surrounded by a wide esplanade with hammocks and parasols and a relaxation area with beds under a wooden structure, are the axis around which this Majorcan hotel revolves.

También, frente a la piscina se encuentra un restaurante exclusivo para clientes del hotel y donde se sirven los desayunos. Un restaurante para el que Serra ha diseñado un gran armario donde se sirve el buffet y que se cierra con grandes mallorquinas de madera. Para diferenciar dos grandes zonas de este restaurante el diseñador ha creado un banco de obra a dos caras y coronado por 10 tinajas artesanales, objeto de decoración muy presente en todo el hotel.

Also, in front of the pool there is an exclusive restaurant for hotel guests and where breakfast is served. A restaurant for which Serra has designed a large cupboard where the buffet is served and which is closed with large wooden shutters. To differentiate between two large areas of this restaurant, the designer has created a double-sided masonry bench crowned by 10 artisanal jars, a decorative object that is very present throughout the hotel.

Frente al mar, se sitúa el otro restaurante del hotel y abierto al público, en el que la madera de roble y el barro negro están muy presentes. Juegos de espejos donde ver el reflejo del mar y una cuidada iluminación donde disfrutar de una velada frente al mediterráneo.

Facing the sea, the other restaurant of the hotel is located and open to the public, in which oak wood and black clay are very present. Games of mirrors where you can see the reflection of the sea and careful lighting where you can enjoy an evening facing the Mediterranean.

Bajo este concepto de relajación y reconexión Serra ha diseñado un Spa espectacular, revestido con la misma piedra utilizada en todo el hotel, donde varias piscinas, decoradas con grandes tinajas, un hammam, una sauna y varias cabinas de masaje se convierten en un templo para el descanso.

Under this concept of relaxation and reconnection Serra has designed a spectacular Spa, covered with the same stone used throughout the hotel, where several pools, decorated with large jars, a hammam, a sauna and several massage cabins become a temple for Rest.

El hotel está coronado con pequeñas terrazas privadas y abundante vegetación, algunas conectadas con las habitaciones, a través de escaleras de caracol exteriores, y todas ellas con grandes camas de relax y jacuzzi de los que disfrutar de intimidad y descanso.

The hotel is crowned with small private terraces and abundant vegetation, some of which are connected to the rooms by external spiral staircases, and all of them with large relaxation beds and a Jacuzzi where you can enjoy intimacy and relaxation.
