Creating a narrative within the landscape of Johannesburg. Different objects are chosen to represent the ruination of the landscape. These objects I have chosen are from a geological and hydrological point of view. They are located within the dolomite and groundwater zone of Johannesburg.

Using the tool of imagination to incorporate a new narrative within an existing fictional one. Using animation and section to develop a story and set the stage for the objects chosen in Atlas of Decay 2.
Zinzi has a connection to the drain where she looks for lost items.
Mrs. Luditzky’s ring falls in the drain and she has to go underground to face her fears. She is met with a near death experience and makes her escape through the tunnel. She has co-existed through the above and the below.
PREMIS MADLIBThe people live in the city until the ground collapses and someone is swallowed by a sinkhole. A witness must enter the drains in order to rescue the person, but the complicated pipe system is in his way. so, along with his trusty guts and bravery, he makes it through after getting lost, and finds the lady. In the end, everything is peaceful and deep away from the chaos above, but they are abandoned and cannot get out.

Using an artist that is relatable (Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum)
I am to use her methodology and thought process to illustrate my Own personal landscape of my heritage, my past, and my future.
I do not exist alone but I exist within a specific landscape.
