1.1 Motivate yourself If you are not motivated to learn English you will become frustrated and give up. Ask yourself the following questions, and be honest: -Why do you need to learn/improve English? − Where will you need to use English? − What skills do you need to learn/improve? (Reading, writing, Listening, speaking) − How soon do you need to see results? − How much time can you afford to devote to learning English. − How much money can you afford to devote to learning English. − Do you have a plan or learning strategy ?

1.2

Set yourself achievable goals

If you want to catch up to the level of native English speakers you can make a list of goals achievements during the day, it will be much more effective if you do it one day a week. Here are some goals You Could Set Yourself: 1. Do your homework. 2. Read a book or a comic every month. 3. Learn a new vocabulary every day. 4. Look an English speaking forum every day (Internet). 5. Read a news article on the net every day. 6. Do 10 minutes listening practice every day. 7. Watch an English film at least eleven month.

1.3Read a translation into English.

Another way of making sure books are easier to understand is to choose a book that was originally translated into English, preferably from your own language. Even if you haven't read the book in your own language, you will find the English is written in a slightly simplified way that is more similar to how your own language is written than a book originally written in English would be. This method will help to pick up your skills in English.

1.4 Watch English language films with English subtitles.

For people who can't understand a film without subtitles but find themselves not listening at all when reading subtitles in their own language, you may take up some time to developing your new hearing level and reinforcing other skills like reading comprehension and word meanings in context.

1.5 Keep a list of language to learn, e.g. a vocab list. Even if you don't often find time to go though your vocab list and it keeps on building up, just the act of choosing which words you need to learn and writing them down on a special list can help you learn them.

1.6 Processing -Think in English Don’t just listen and read passively. This about the meaning – the deeper meaning of words and expressions. Make an imagen in your brain. Think about how you can use the words and sentences in the future. Practice thinking about things first come to your mind in English way!

1.7 Online chat. The closest thing to speaking for people who don't have the chance to speak English is online chat, as you have to think and respond quickly, and the language is short and informal just like speech.

1.8 Make it Enjoyable In some times is hard to pick up to the english level that we have but when you’re having fun, it actually makes it easier for you to remember things that you learn, so make sure that you make learning English fun. Take time to do puzzles and to play games, even if it does seem a bit childlike. They really can help you as you learn English and provide you with excellent practice.

1.9 Practice asmuch as you can

Take every chance you get to speak or read English. Although it is always easier to use your native language, that will not help you learn English. Do not be discouraged by small setbacks. It may take you a while to learn English well enough to communicate effectively, but you must be persistent although at times you feel that you are get by to learn English.
