I am a young graduate in architecture at Politecnico di Torino in last December 1015. In addition to the architecture, I have a passion for photography, design and construction of architectural models. I like to travel and explore anywhere; for this reason my master thesis has led me in India. Thanks to my studies and my attitude I have a good ability to work both independently and in a team; I have acquired solid skills dealing with the different scales of the project, from the construction details of the building to the neighborhood. My approach to architecture tries to find the best solution combining design and sustainability and I deeply believe in the social value of the architectural project.

Costruire con la terra India MASTER THESIS 2015 The project deals with the issue of building in a rural area of a developing country. In collaboration with Jarom Onlus Association we have faced the design of a school and a gym at Jareya, in the existing Nawa Maskal school in the middle of the indian forest. Project theme is respect for the local culture and the traditional building techniques. We decided to use the clay with the technique of pisĂŠ and a wooden frame. The project consists of two buildings articulated around a central space and host functions currently absents but necessaries.

The objective is to develop systems that allow, with an implementation, sensitive, to connect the various communities and neighborhoods that are disconnected from one another. The redevelopment aims therefore to redesign the territory and rehabilitate through specific interventions of public and community services. So was therefore designed a library, an auditorium, a market, urban gardens and a new commercial and residencial avenue. Also it has been defined a new image to the great urban park already present on site. All these interventions are followed a careful morphologic and social analysis. The local residents are almost entirely African Portuguese immigrants. In particular, my project has faced a residential block overlooking the avenue. The idea is to close the domestic courts to be devoted exclusively to building use. The square-shaped buildings resemble those already existing, creating an integrated fabric.

Public interventions in river area Torino DESIGN LABORATORY - 4 YEAR (POLITECNICO DI TORINO) 2014 In a utopian vision of the redevelopment of the Po’s banks near Corso Belgio, the project involves the opening of channels, corresponding to the existing roads. In this way, the river reclaims the spaces stolen by urbanization. Design choices have materialized in the creation of a system of steps and terraces that allow to create a new urban space and a relationship between the city and the river. For the implementation of the concrete steps, the references used are the pure forms pure forms used by the designer Adolphe Appia to its“Rhythmic spaces.” Such forms have been studied and recomposed to form the new basement of the existing building. The plants of the channels are designed as spaces that change dependingon rainwater, as organizedon several levels. The graywater from drains and roofs arechanneled to irrigate the gardens. Below the large steps have also been obtained parkings on two levels.
