“I try to live my life, and so far, I’ve succeeded…” Jason Mraz, an American Singer-songwriter, is one of the few artists of our time that we cannot pin-point to one style. He describes himself as bizarre and different, and we sure agree with him! Hello Jason, what can you tell us about your first album? Hi. Well, my first album, Waiting for my Rocket to Come, was released in 2002, and it contained my hit song The Remedy. It really wasn’t much, but it helped me get started in the music industry, and I was really excited about it. But that album was completely different from the next one, Mr. AZ. Right? Oh, absolutely. Mr. AZ, released in 2005 expressed my personality completely. Every song is a world. It got a Grammy for best engineered album, which is amazing! In my opinion the best song in that album is Life is Wonderful.
What is that song about, anyway? Well, that’s hard to say. When I wrote it, I wanted people to realize that everything happens for a reason. Cause and effect, basically. As the song says: “It takes a thought to make a word”. Oh I see. Would you say that’s your life motto? Yeah sure. I don’t pretend to be someone who will always be remembered. And just like the song says, I think everything has its consequences. I try to live my life. And so far I’m succeeding, until I do something that changes that. But Jason, your hit Single by far was I’m Yours, is that right?
Yeah, thats correct. It was in my album We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things. The song got nominated for the Grammys, too. It reached number 1 on AAA radio charts in the US, as well as selling about 500,000 copies. But I must say that that album would not be as great without Colbie’s help. Of course, Colbie Calliat. You recorded Lucky together. Lucky was an amazing song, and Colbie has an amazing angel voice, on top of her angel beauty. She’s a great friend of mine and I loved getting the chance to sing with her, we sure had a lot of fun. And what are your plans for the future? Well, right now I’m working on Love is a Four-Letter Word, and so far it’s going great. When it comes out I’ll be happy to meet up again and talk about it! Can we ask you one more thing? What’s with you and hats? Oh it’s nothing! I just hate combing my hair, and love hats at the same time. I guess it’s part of my look, too.

Distance…It always seems like a huge problem, right? Well, it doesn’t have to be one! Nowadays we have tons of social networks that help us stay in touch with those who matter the most to us. Distance isn’t that big of an issue anymore, so don’t worry too much about it!
We’re all different, that’s a sure thing. So not being that kind of girl is something great. It makes you special and unique. Everyone has qualities that can make someone else head over heels, even you!
How come when we are young all we want is to grow up, and as we get older, we want to stay little? We have to live life to the fullest, laugh like there’s no tomorrow, and make the best out of every second.

There’s always a time when we feel like meeting new people, and that can be solved very easily. Just go out and talk to different people, make new friends. We’re not saying you should replace your old ones, but just make some more, you can never have too many friends.
Your smile…it just makes me smile, too! Don’t you love when making someone else happy makes you happy? And when you are sad, think that maybe, someone is falling in love with your smile, so don’t frown!
Go all over the world, get to know new cultures, languages, meet new people, try new dishes…it all seems amazing. It’s not something easy to achieve, but you can start off by getting to know your area. Have you visited every corner of your country yet? I don’t think so!
They say your dreams are just wishes that haven’t come true yet…who knows! All we know is that we love that feeling when you see someone special in your dreams…

Sometimes, when you meet someone, you feel like you’ve met them before. You just have so many things in common that it’s as if you’re soul-mates. Our advice? Hold on to that one special person forever!
