We have a long and trusted reputation with publishers in 71 countries so far and are known for numerous sales of the rights of our picture books and novels. We also specialize in highquality co-editions of our picture books: in 2022, we did no less than 262 co-editions for our friends worldwide. The motto of Clavis Publishing is “We make children’s dreams come true!” and it’s our goal to extend that motto to include children all over the globe.

Lise Merken is our adventurous sinologist. She lived for a year in China after college graduation and joined the Clavis family to help expand Clavis into the East Asian subcontinent. Now, she utilizes her diverse set of skills to manage markets all over the world

Jing Wang is our fashionable globetrotter. She was born and raised in China, pursued higher education in Switzerland, has been living in Belgium for 7 years, and travels abroad every chance she gets.
