Fall 2015 Spring 2016 Professional Events

Welcome to the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts! Our 19th season offers a wonderful array of world-class, professional entertainment. From the 30th Anniversary tour of the Peking Acrobats to the Grammy®-award winning Mariachi Divas, the retro music of Billy Joel and Elton John in Jim Witter’s “The Piano Men” and the passionate talent of the renowned Ailey II, there is something for every generation and every taste. The exquisite Lake Forest Symphony presents their annual five-concert series at the James Lumber Center, with presentations before each concert to enhance the experience. School groups (grades K-6) regularly attend curriculum-enhancing shows on weekday mornings. Exciting specials like comedian Jay Pharoah of Saturday Night Live and vocals by the a capella group VoicePlay, seen on NBC’s The Sing-Off also bring national talent to our community. With ticket prices lower than most area venues, group rates and season subscription packages are available for even greater price discounts. Excellent views of the stage with ample, comfortable seating are welcome comforts. Free parking is an added bonus. When you add it all up, you really can’t lose when you come to the James Lumber Center. Don’t miss the fun; join us for a great night out with family or friends. See you soon! Gwethalyn J.
