Safety The IGNISÂŽ SEB range of smart fireplace inserts provides the safest fireplace experience on the market today. Through advanced electronics the burnersâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; microprocessor constantly monitors temperature, carbon dioxide emission and fuel levels. Shockproof, this series of burners also employs a seismic shift sensor. Should any condition become irregular, intelligence takes over and powers down the burner while locking the remaining fuel in its sealed reservoir. By separating excess fuel from the vapors that are combusting, exposed fuel is kept to a minimum as is the odor produced by the ethanol fuel in its raw state.

NO SMELL. NO SMOKE. NO ASH. NO PROBLEM. Ignis® ethanol fireplace fuel is among the cleanest and safest ventless fireplace fuel on the market today. When considering the purchase of an ethanol burning fireplace or fireplace insert, it is of the utmost importance to keep the safe use of your fireplace in the forefront of your mind. Safety is a core value at Ignis®. In addition to safe fireplace technology, Ignis® has brought to market a safe fuel packaged in a safety-conscious bottle: •

Each bottle of Ignis® fuel is equipped with a flame arrestor in its neck. A screen-like piece, this mechanism prevents sparks from entering the bottle during the fill/refill process. All bottles of Ignis® fireplace fuel are equipped with double protection to ensure its safe storage around children. The cap must be depressed, then twisted to open. Once opened, a silver foil seal must be removed.

A bittering agent is added to Ignis® fuel to prevent accidental ingestion of the liquid by children or pets. This is the third level of defense that is taken to ensure safety.

Ignis® ethanol fireplace fuel is bottled in a quart-size PET (polyethylene terephthalate) container. Made of safe, recyclable material, it is lightweight, strong and boasts shatter-proof qualities.
