Professional services will include, but are not necessarily limited to, the design and preparation of plans and specifications; assistance with technical inquiries during bidding process; participation in preconstruction meetings; construction inspection and oversight; procurement of all permits required to complete construction and verification of contractor billings. This CDBG project have a work completion date of December 31, 2020 and is described as (project costs are currently preliminary estimates): Village of Bethel: Replacement of the S. Union Street Bridge located in the 200 block of S. Union Street to include walking bridges on each side of the bridge. Construction will include storm conduit and catch basins. Estimated project cost $260,000. The design must be completed within a sufficient time frame of authorization to allow sufficient time to complete construction by December of 2020. The successful professional design firm(s) shall provide such services in accordance with Section 153.65 of the Ohio Revised Code.
