Hudson High School students visit Golden Years Adult Activity Center

erones visit Adams, Brown and Highland Counties for the entire week. It is a lifetime experience that the students and participants at the center truly enjoyed and will always remember. This year was no exception, students and participants talked about their lives. The Golden Years participants told about serving in the military, being moms in the 50’s, raising their children and helping with their grand-

children. The students talked about plans for the future. It was an exciting time for everyone. The Hudson High students brought crafts with the Golden Years attendees to paint. The Southern Ohio Council of Governments (SOCOG) will hold its next board meeting on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Room A of the Ross County Service Center at 475 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601. It's primary focus is quality assurance, provider compliance, investigative services and residential administration of waivers and supportive living in order to provide individualized, personal support to people with developmental disabilities. SOCOG is a government entity created under Chapter 167 of the Ohio Revised Code, representing 15 county boards of development disabilities.

Hamersville Alumni Prizes for reading Dinner set for June 28 at the Brown County The Hamersville Alumni and 1934. Association will host the Cost which includes the Public Library annual alumni banquet be- meal and entertainment is ginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28. All alumni are invited to attend. The event will be held at the Hamersville Elementary and Middle School, located at 1950 state Route 125, Hamersville. Bible Chapel to hold Vacation Bible School Bible Chapel U.C.C. in Hamersville will hold Vacation Bible School June 913 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. This years program is ‘Workshop of Wonders Imagine and Build with God’. Children and youth will learn how ordinary becomes extraordinary with God. They will have a wonderful time making

Quarter Raffle set to benefit Fisher House Fisher House Foundation is a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment at the VA hospital.
