GRACE
Titus 2:11-15: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” These are the instructions given to the young preacher by the Apostle Paul. Look at verse 11 again: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” Grace has appeared to all men no matter where you go in this world for it has been made available to everyone! Ignorance is no excuse, the Bible says that the heavens declare the glory of God. God has let them know and they either accept Him or reject Him. People might pretend that they do not know so they can live their wicked lives the way they want to, but, God knows they know and He will not excuse them! In fact, God knows everything about you, even the number of hairs on your head! What you need to do is come to Christ and let Him forgive your sins. The grace of God is like a cushion between the judgment of God on the one hand and your sin on the other. If it wasn’t for that cushion of grace, the judgment of God would come down and wipe you out! Someone once said that grace could mean: GGod’s, R-riches, A-at, C-Christ, E-expense. The dictionary tells us that grace is unmerited favor. It is undeserved but freely given. We can not buy the grace of God; not by money, or works, or anything else! It would be an insult to God to even try to buy it. He freely gives His grace. Do you realize that most of the things that are really valuable in this life are free? Stop and think about it. The air we breathe, the rain, the sunshine, and even God’s artwork. Have you ever stopped and looked at a beautiful sunset, sunrise, or a field of wild flowers? And what about His gift of salvation; where would we be without the grace of God? Ephesians 2:8 tells us:

MT. ORAB BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH WWW.BBMTORAB.COM
“For by grace are ye saved through faith...” God will never put tax on His grace nor raise the price! It will always be free and it is abundant right now: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men...” That is why Jesus said in Mark 16:15: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” In Matthew 28:19 He said: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” It is the wonderful, marvelous, grace of God. Anyone can be saved. It is just a case of being willing. It is just a case of giving up yourself, your stubbornness, your self-will, and surrendering to God. It is letting Him take control of your life. Sometimes that is not so easy to do because we want to be in control. We all think that we are pretty important people. But, ladies and gentlemen, we all are in need of God’s salvation. However, God’s grace will not always be available to those who have rejected it now. The Bible tells us that God will not always strive with man. The day of God’s mercy and grace will pass and judgment will come upon all who have rejected Him. Hebrews 9:27 states: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Some have already put it off until it was too late. They have died and their soul is in Hell awaiting the Great White Throne judgment. There is no escape for them. They will spend eternity in Hell. But right now you have the chance to receive salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Won’t you take this opportunity; you just might not get another one!
