Galatians 3:11: “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” Now the writer of the German Bible first translated from Hebrew and Greek was Martin Luther, the old reformer. When he read this verse which is in both the Old Testament (Habakkuk 2:4) and New Testament (Romans 1:17 & Galatians 3:11) he realized that he was not saved by all the works that he was trying to do as a Roman Catholic priest. I know they say that the reason that he did what he did was because he wanted to get married but, in truth it was his faith and confidence in being justified through faith in Jesus Christ that was his ultimate reason for changing his belief in works. How much clearer can you get than: “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God...”? Faith is just simply believing; you either believe it or you don’t! It is a yes or no thing, yes I believe it or no I don’t! Yes I believe that Jesus Christ died on that cross; yes I believe He was buried in that tomb; yes I believe He resurrected again, or no I don’t believe any of that. When you truly believe it you should receive it in your heart where it then takes action. Some people never get past just the head knowledge. It does not do a bit of good to believe it and not receive it! James 2:19 says: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” But when you receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour He will save your never dying soul from Hell! However, when you get saved it does not put you in the church. That is a misconception. When you get saved it puts you in the kingdom of God, not in the church. Now remember, there is a difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Heaven. When you say the Lord’s Prayer you are asking for His kingdom to come, so you can not be in the kingdom of heaven now, right? We would not be asking for it if we was. The kingdom of heaven is when Jesus comes back personally and reigns and rules on earth for 1000 years. The kingdom of God is now and when you ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your

heart and to save your soul you become a member of the kingdom of God; I repeat, not of the local church! When you are not a member of the local church you are not a member of the heavenly church; but you are a member of the kingdom of God. Now, some say that when you are saved the Spirit baptizes you into the body of Christ. It is called Spirit Baptism. Therefore, when you are saved you are a part of the body of Christ automatically. That is not Bible teaching. There were 3 baptisms in the Bible. First there was the Baptism of John the Baptist. He baptized into repentance before Christ was crucified. He could not baptize into the church because there was no church. Go to Acts 18 and in verse 25-28 it tells us that all he knew about was the baptism of John so that was what he was teaching along with showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. However Aquila and Priscilla expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. They said: hold it, some things have changed, Jesus has now died and has resurrected. In Acts 19:5 Those who were baptized unto John’s baptism were re-baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Thus ended the baptism of John. For Spiritual baptism they refer to I Corinthians 12:12-13 but it does not say “in” it says “by” which are two different words entirely. There is no Spiritual baptism at the time of salvation. Now the disciples were immersed in the Holy Ghost the day of Pentecost but that was a one time deal. There is only one baptism now and that is water baptism and that is when you are baptized into the local church. In this church I put you under the water but it is the Holy Ghost who makes you a member of the church!
