The Crew Leader responsibilities include continuous daily supervision of assigned crew, daily coordination of crew and completion of work scheduled to be done. Inspector responsibilities include making initial contact with weatherization applicants to inspect their homes and determine the weatherization needs of the homes, counseling residents on the energy conservation measures to be performed on their homes, and reviewing the work after completion. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; three to five years related experience in construction/energy related trades, ability to work without direct supervision, and must attend all required trainings.
