One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student from each of the five Brown County High Schools who is pursuing a career in healthcare. Interested students may obtain an application from the High School Guidance Counselor. Applications must be returned to the counselors no later than April 14, 2014. The Brown County Health and Wellness Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide programs and services designed to promote the general health and wellbeing of the citizens of Brown County. In the past, the Foundation has benefited the people of Brown County through the purchase of AED equipment and supplies, a scholarship program for those stude nts seeking a medical career, and assistance with basic medical tests and hospital services.
