Nora Linn Clark, 93, Canton, Ga., formerly of Felicity, Oh., died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was the wife of the late: Thomas S. Clark, 1 late son, Larry W. Clark, survived by her daughter-inlaw, Sanda Clark, 3 grandchildren: Larry Jr. (Teresa M.) Clark, Teri Lynn (Derick) Kenson and Lisa Anne (Greg) O’Neill. 7 greatgrandchildren: Ryan Clark, Christopher Guinn, Lauren A. Bolar, Mercedes E. Chonwahi, Alexis B. Yates, Kiley O’Neill and Aidan O’Neill, 3 great-greatgrandchildren: Christopher T. Guinn, Sophia Bolar and Scarlett Romero, 1 sister, Mildred Villandingham, 1 sister-in-law: Bonnie Mays, numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Funeral services were at the Felicity First Baptist Church, 212 Prather Rd., Felicity, Ohio, 45120, on Monday, March 10, 2014. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Moscow, Ohio The Charles H. McIntyre Funeral Home, Felicity, served the family.
Roy J. Mullins, Jr., 66, Mount Orab, Oh., passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was the loving husband of the late Jetta Mullins (nee Mounce), loving father of Matthew J (Anna) Mullins Sr., Ronda (Darryl) Ackley, Charlene Graham and Darlene Graves, also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Scottish Rite and Masonic Services will be held prior to the service. The Maham Funeral Home, Williamsburg, served the family.
Carl “Sky High” Fredrick Minion, 88 of Mt. Orab, Oh., died Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was a retired truck driver for Ace Doran. He was born April 21, 1925 in North College Hill, Oh., the son of the late Fredrick and Alma (Lohr) Minion. Mr. Minion is survived by his wife – Nellie (Cremer) Minion; one daughter – Tammy Jo Minion of Redondo Beach, Cal.; four sons – William J. Cremer of Mt. Orab, David L. Cremer of Sardinia, Carl David Minion of Orlando, Fla., and Cecil Minion of Elba, Al., one brother – Fredrick William Minion of North College Hill, Oh., nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Mt. Orab First Baptist Church, 704 South High Street, Mt. Orab, where Tim Cline will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the church. Following the funeral service Mr. Minion will be cremated. The Cahall Funeral Home, Mt. Orab, served the family.
Juanita P. Baker, 85 Juanita P. Baker, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Elmer R. Baker, loving mother of Charlie Buchanan, Darlene (Sonya) Baker and Helen (Tom) Price, loving stepmother of Ray, Eunice, John, Charles and Cathy, also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services have been set at the Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 12 noon. Forrest Wheeler Copas, 88 Forrest Wheeler Copas, 88, of Stout in Nile Township in Scioto County, Oh., died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was born March 24,1925 in Jefferson Township in Adams County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Edward and Loretta May (Easter) Copas and wife, Zelma Iona (McGovney) Copas. He is survived by his son, Steven Elwood Copas of Stout; four sisters: Thelma Frazier and Patricia Dolan, both of West Union; Rosie Wells of New York, NY.; and Faye Grooms of Bradenton, Fla. He retired from Detroit Steel Corporation in New Boston where he was a crane operator for 24 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a graduate of the former Jefferson High School in Blue Creek. A private funeral service has been set for Friday, March 14, 2014 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. There will be no visitation. The interment is at Copas Cemetery. The Lafferty Funeral Home, West Union, served the family.
