G’town Happy Hustler Cloverbuds busy The Georgetown Happy Hustler Cloverbuds worked diligently at the seventh club meeting on their group project. They are using carpet samples that are no longer in use and are applying paint to them to make them into welcome mats. The Cloverbuds let their imagination run wild as they decided how they wanted their welcome mat to look. The Cloverbuds have made birdseed ornaments by pressing a birdseed mixture into cookie cutters that they took home to hang outside for the hungry birds to eat, made green clover necklaces made from salt dough, they have completed an all about me poster, and have had activities so that they can learn the 4H pledge. One evening they used broccoli, spinach leaves, carrots, and sun flower seeds to learn about the different parts of a plant. They then painted flowers of their own by using recycled plastic bottles that they applied paint on the bottom of the bottle and pressed it on paper to create flower petals. The Cloverbuds have a great time working together and are an important part of our club.
