ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed bids for the Susanna Way Promenade in the Village of New Richmond will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Clermont County, Ohio, 101 East Main Street - 3rd Floor, Batavia, Ohio 45103, until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on May 14, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. CONTRACT No. 2018-05 NEW RICHMOND “SUSANNA WAY PROMENADE” PROJECT Work under this contract is generally defined as public facilities and infrastructure improvements to Susanna Way Promenade in New Richmond, Ohio. This activity provides funding to the Village of New Richmond to add first time sidewalks to this part of the river front. It will extend the current sidewalk from Front Street to connect a 10 block area along Susanna Way between Western Avenue and Augusta Street. The project will also ease the storm water management issues along the street by providing new curbs and gutters. It will provide 10,800 square feet of sidewalks, 1,800 linear feet of curbs, 120 linear feet of storm conduit, 400 square yards of restored turf, 1,800 feet of restored pavement and the installation of 2 storm inlets. The County expects to proceed with the construction under the contract immediately after satisfactory acceptance and award of the construction bid and execution of the contract, with completion of all work for Contract No. 2018-05 by December 31, 2021.
