To the Unknown heirs, devisees, legatees, Administrators, Executors and assigns, or Guardians of the Unknown heirs, devisees, legatees of J.O. McMannis, if any, whose last place of residence is unknown: Each of you will hereby take notice that on the 14th day of September, 2018, Christi B. Countryman-Dick filed a Quiet Title action in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas Case No. CVH 20180353, requesting that title to the land and premises be quieted in the name of Christi B. Countryman-Dick, concerning the following described property to wit: Situated in the Village of West Union, in the County of Adams, in the State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows: Situated in the Village of West Union, in the County of Adams, in the State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows: Being In-Lot Nums. 156, the West half of In-Lot No. 157, all of In-Lot number 161 and 29 feet off the west end of In-Lot number 162 in the West Union Improvement Company’s Addition to said Village of West Union as said lots are known and designated on the recorded plat of said addition, and being the same premises conveyed to F.A. Shively by B.J. Games and wife by deed dated February 28, 1924 and record in Volume 119 page 381 of the Records of deeds of Adams County, Ohio. Being Parcel No. 117-34-31003.000 And *the un-surveyed remainder (west side) of In-Lot 154, having been taxed by the Adams County Auditor as being included in the above referenced parcel, and at issue in this matter. Plaintiff prays that the Defendants named above be required to answer and set forth their interest in said real estate or be forever barred from asserting the same; that title to said land and premises be quieted in the name of Christi B. Countryman-Dick and for other further such relief as shall be necessary, equitable and proper.
The Defendants named above are hereby notified that they are required to answer this Complaint within twenty-eight (28) days after the last publication of this notice, said publication to be published at least once a week for six (6) consecutive weeks, beginning, the 10th day of October, 2018. If you do not file an Answer to said Complaint in the Adams County Clerk of Court’s office, West Union Ohio 45993, within the allotted twenty-eight (28) days after the last date of publication, service will be complete and the Court may grant judgment to the Plaintiff as requested. You are required to serve upon Plaintiff’s attorney, Alan W. Foster, 228 N. Market St., West Union OH 45693, a copy of your Answer to the Complaint.
