The team hosts awareness nights at games throughout each season to help support and promote important causes, including breast cancer with Cleveland Clinic and Susan G. Komen; colorectal cancer with Cleveland Clinic Fight and Colorectal Cancer; autism with Cleveland Clinic Children’s and KultureCity; and many other causes. For each of these games, fans in attendance learn about the respective cause through elements in-game, on the concourse and the team’s website and social channels.

In addition, the Cavs host themed appreciation game nights, such as the annual Cavs Salute to Service presented by Ohio CAT, which honors former and current military members, as well as cultural appreciation nights, such as Los Cavs Noche Latina and the Black Heritage Celebration.

Throughout each year, the Cavs also hold drives at games to collect items for local organizations, including Harvest for Hunger to collect nonperishable food items for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and a Toy Drive during the holiday season.
