EARLY LITERACY PROGRAMS

0 to 3: Read to Me

Programming designed to support families with children from birth through Kindergarten.

Early literacy services provide the foundation parents and caregivers need to grow great readers and prepare children to succeed in preschool and kindergarten.

Call (216) 623-7114 for additional information

STORYTIMES

Bring your little ones to the library and begin raising readers. Age-appropriate storytimes are designed for specific developmental levels as children gain language and pre-reading skills. These sessions provide engaging interactions with words and reading to foster children’s early literacy skills while also building social and emotional skills. Check branch listings for schedules.

TAKE HOME STORYTIME KITS

Stop at West Park Branch at the end of each month to check out our featured story book and pick up your free storytime kit to enjoy at home. Each kit will include an assortment of activities to enhance the story and promote early literacy skills. While you’re at the library, join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative and give your family the best foundation for success in school and beyond.
