A day in the Life of Matthew

8.05 am

Travel

I catch the 738 college bus from Skelmersdale.

11.20 am

Study Period

I have free periods throughout the week that I use to study. The library is a great place to go, with relaxed, group and silent study areas. There are plenty of IT facilities to go round.

8.50 am

11.00 am

Arrive

I arrive at college and go the canteen where I have breakfast and catch up with friends.

10.05 am

Break

I usually go to Starbucks to grab a drink and a snack and see my friends.

12.20 pm

Free Period

In my frees I catch up on work and, if I have time, I go for a walk with friends. We are lucky to have lots of countryside around college.

3.45 pm

English Literature

I’ve enjoyed all the texts we have studied so far; the subject allows us to analyse them in great depth.

2.20 pm

Home

I catch the college bus home. I’ve made lots of friends through catching the bus and there is always a great atmosphere on board! Ancient History

Ancient History is fascinating. We do immersive investigations into the topics and our teacher is amazingly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject.
