issue nine 2Q 2016
VPS Message Best of the Best 1Q Plan Hits New Members of the Southeast RGMM Message Anniversaries President’s Club Leader’s Conference
VPS Message SE Crew, In our last issue of SQ I was excited to report after 9 weeks all 10 territory teams were posting increases and the region was showing a +25% increase.
This is why
the Southeast Region is the best in the land, because after 22 weeks ALL 10 territory teams are still up and up by double
digits! The Region is up 25% YTD and +27%
QTD!! It is because of your hard work and focus that we
The Proud SOUTHEAST REGION
are in the position we are in to finish the 1st half of the year with great momentum. As we continue to do everything we can to finish June and Q2 strong, I want to share a couple of quick thoughts with you about the 2nd half of this great year.
Momentum is an important element to have on
your side in this business. We have it now and we CAN keep it.
The way we keep this rolling is to continue to
drive the great activity that we have been driving all year.
In addition to activity focused on new account
sales, let’s continue to be vigilant in our approach to our existing cases. We have an Account management team at
home office for
both
premier and
non-premier
cases. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your Territory Manager to get additional ideas and support to make the most of our reworks in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Continue to be a student of the business and thank you for all your hard work!
I appreciate all of you,
Mathew Matarrese, VP of Sales, Southeast Region

Meet the new member of the
Regional Instructor, South Carolina/E Georgia I started with Colonial back in 2012 after graduating college. I had a very close friend introduce me to the advantages of Colonial Life. I applied and came in as a Customer Service Rep in the contact center. After working in the contact center, I was promoted to our Service operations department, on the National Phone Team. That was where I assisted the field agents with claims and billing questions. After working on the agent line for about six months, I quickly noticed the passion I had in assisting our field employees, and felt that I had the knowledge to service our customers in the field as well. By December 2014, I left our home office and became licensed and appointed with Colonial Life. Coming from a home office position, I had no issues when it came to billing, product knowledge and just Colonial overall. So when the opportunity became available for the Regional Instructor role, I felt that it was in my duty to take on this role. I consider myself Colonial’s biggest cheerleader and I want to be able to impact as many of our agents, customers and future customers that I possibly can. I couldn’t ask for a better company than Colonial Life. This company has changed me and my family lives for the best. Artina McKnight O: 803-929-1227 C: 803-605-2870 amcknight@coloniallife.com
