WELCOME TO OUR FEBRUARY HALF TERM 2017 HOLIDAY CLUB AND ACTIVITY COURSE PROGRAMME! This February we have another full, action and adventure packed week lined up. We are delighted to be able to offer an excellent range of fun opportunities in our usual stimulating and creative environment and the programme will be delivered, as always, to the highest professional standards.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - REGISTRATION POINTS Please note that our early service (0800–1000) and our late service (1600–1800) continues to be included in the daily price for all age groups. Minis Holiday Club is a service registered for 3–4 year old children based in Clifton College Nursery. This provides a stimulating and creative environment for young children during the holidays. Qualified and experienced staff will support children to engage in age-appropriate activities with particular attention paid to personal development, interaction with others and, most importantly, fun!

Minis must bring a packed lunch each day.

Please note that lunchtime collection/drop off will be in the Bretten Memorial Hall (situated next to the tennis courts between The Avenue and Northcote Road). Juniors Holiday Club activities are designed specifically with 5–7 year olds in mind. Swimming is an important and enjoyable part of each daily programme and along with other activities, all led by experienced staff, the emphasis is on promoting individual development and, of course, fun. We believe it is important that children are able to pursue interests and develop skills through a range of activities and opportunities.

The typical Kids’ Club day includes a wide variety of activities that 8–13s enjoy. A freetime Swimming session is a very popular part of each morning’s activities. The other three main daily activity sessions are designed with varying interest and ability groups in mind and children can choose from a number of themed afternoon activities that take place both indoor and outdoor around Clifton College’s Sports Centre. Throughout our programme we promote self expression, confidence building and, of course, fun by offering as much choice as possible.

8–13 YEARS’ ACTIVITY COURSES Registration: All courses will register in The Prichard Room at 0945 and will conclude at 1600 unless otherwise stated. All day long courses include lunch.

Sweet and savoury recipes will be tried and tested with the results taken home for the family to enjoy. Children should wear old clothes.

With particular attention paid to fun and learning, professional coaches will deliver a host of activity and skill sessions as well as small-sided matches to ensure nonstop football action. A great opportunity to enjoy and improve your game. Please note football kit, a change of footwear and shin pads are required.


Big Imaginative Drawing Date: 16/2 Price: £48 Experiment with a wide variety of exciting artist materials to bring your superheroes and villains to life. Go out sketching as a group during the day to research ideas, create stories to make our own comic book and construct large scale super hero characters.

Music Producer for the Day Date: 15/2 Price: £48 Work alongside a professional Music Producer to learn the art of music production. Come up with themes for songs, play keyboards, produce beats and take away your own CD track.

Bushcraft

Soccer Tournament Day Date: 17/2 Price: £48 Soccer Tournament Day is packed full of fun, skills, nail-biting excitement and spectacular goals. Run by professional coaches, teams are chosen and mixed around throughout the day. A fantastic course for all football fans! Please note football kit, a change of footwear and shin pads are required.

Date: 16/2 Price: £48 A true adventure learning ancient skills such as animal tracking, shelter building, cooking on a fire and nature awareness. The perfect opportunity to go wild in a safe and fun environment. Visiting the countryside will never be the same again.

Events & Parties for groups Outdoor activities are a great way to celebrate birthdays or any other special occasion – whether you are 8 years old or 80!

Corporate Away Days & Training for Adults Whether it is Team Bonding, Management training or just simply you want to have fun and say thank you to your staff.
