How to Remove the Background of an Image with Photoshop?
Sometimes you’ll find the perfect shot ruined by something you don’t want in the background. Luckily, this can be fixed with Photoshop – and here’s how. It’s always disappointing when you manage to take a brilliant picture only to discover that, whilst the subject looks great, the background is muddy or undesirable for some reason. But fear not: it’s not the end of the road. With a little bit of Photoshop magic, you can simply and easily remove the background of any subject. Here’s how to do it in step-by-step form.
1. Open your image file in Photoshop.
2. Click the Pen Tool from the toolbox bar on the left of the screen.
3. At the top of the screen, make sure you select the Paths (This looks like a pen nib on top of a box with four dots on the corners).

4. Click and hold the mouse at one edge of the subject. What you’ll find is that the tool automatically places a dot where it detects the edge of the subject.
5. If you make a mistake, simply press undo option to remove it.
6. Then, continually holding the button, drag around the the subject. With patience, you’ll be able to select the whole subject.

7. Next go to the Path Palette on the right of the screen and select the menu in the upper right of this window (three lines with an arrow). From the menu, choose Clipping Path and choose the Flatness (blurriness of the lines).
