Northwood Science Fair Public Viewing is March 25rd during parent teacher conferences.
No School on March 26th.

Recycling Bags
Wilson has a recycling bin for paper. Since we were not getting enough paper the company said, “ If you do not get enough paper we will take your recycling bin away over Christmas Break”. So after they said that Wilson gave out two recycling bags out to each teacher. Two stu-
dents take the bag home for two days and bring it back full of paper. After you bring it back you dump it in the recycling bin. Ever since we have had those bags our recycling bin has been full. Abby Carter 3rd Grade

So third grade is having a science fair but sadly regular third grade can not win but, I am
pretty sure if one of the SILO kids win the science fair represent the third grade in Wilson School. So

Record setting blizzard on Christmas Eve, 2009. A record of 14.1” fell in Oklahoma City. Seminole had snow drifts up to 5 feet. The
snow came up to my knees! Lots of kids, including myself took advantage of the snowfall. I enjoyed sledding with my family during this blizzard.
Accelerated Reader (AR) By Dominic Marshall
AR is accelerated reader in which you get from the library. The library is in the middle of the first and second grade halls. The AR books are
the books that have all kinds of colored tags on the stem of the books. You read the book you take a test on it. You can get points for the test you take.
If you get 40 AR points you get to go on a trip to the Redhawks game.
