Creating a stylish Selectives closet system is simple and easy. We’ll start with the photo of a standard reach in closet to the right. An ‘exploded’ view is shown below. The multi-shelf unit in the centre is the ‘Closet Organiser’ and is an essential component for all closet configurations. It includes the three expandable closet rods shown. The top shelves above the closet rods are optional and create extra storage space where the ceiling height permits. Other options shown are door sets to create cupboard space and drawers which are available in shallow or deep sizes. Although this design is shown in White, you can create the same design in Cherry too. To order in Cherry finish simply change the prefix letter for the items required from T for White to R for Cherry.
Wire baskets can be substituted in place of solid drawers. The ventilated wire baskets are available in white or nickel finishes. Item A10 (shallow basket) and item A12 (deep basket) are finished in white and item A7 (shallow basket) and item A9 (deep basket) are finished in nickel.

Selectives is just as simple to use to create a walk in closet or L shaped enclosure too! The basics remain the same for larger, more ambitious configurations such as the photo of an L shaped layout to the left. An ‘exploded’ view is shown below. Corner units help to maximise available storage space and the addition of a second closet organiser extends the amount of hanging, shelving and drawer space etc. Although this design is shown in Cherry, you can create the same design in White too. To order in White finish simply change the prefix letter for the items required from R for Cherry to T for White.
These shelves are adjustable on all Selectives closet organisers, enabling the height of the shelves to be altered as required, or they can be removed entirely to make space for drawers or other accessories. The organiser comes complete with four fixed and two adjustable shelves along with three expandable closet rods. Closet rods expand from 30” (76cm) 48” (122cm) wide. Organiser creates shelf storage, long hanging space & two tier short hanging space for closets between 85” (215.9cm) 121” (307cm) wide. If smaller size is required, closet rods can be cut or not all closet rods need to be used. 82.5” (209.6cm) tall x 25” (63.5cm) wide x 14.6” (37cm) deep.
The top shelf creates additional shelving space, particularly above hanging areas. Supplied complete with a fixing kit which fixes to the back wall and side wall / side of closet organiser (R4/T4). Top shelves can be cut to size, to suit the width of your hanging area and the fixing kit will hide any cut ends. Additional top shelf fixing kits are available if required, order item number A40 or A41.
The top shelf fixing kit provides everything you need to fix the top shelf (R7/T7) in position. Fixes to the back wall and side wall / side of closet organiser (R4/T4). One kit is needed per shelf. Nickel is ideal for teaming with Cherry whilst White matches the White kit colour. Please note that if you have to trim your top shelf, the fixing kit will hide the cut end.
