Introducing
For one night only on Monday 1 July in a garden in Kensington, central London, experience the Cashmere Caveman dining experience with Guy Ritchie’s personal chef & twelve exquisite wines in an intimate, bespoke event from Clos Fine Wine
Made famous in Netflix’s The Gentlemen directed by Guy Ritchie, the Cashmere Caveman offers a totally unique dining experience, centred around fire. Two wood fired ovens allow the chef to steam, bake, grill, fry, smoke, slow roast, and even boil, all on one artisanal unit.
For one night only, Clos Fine Wine will have the Cashmere Caveman set up in a private garden in Kensington, in the heart of London, manned specially for the evening by Guy Ritchie’s personal chef and firemaster, who regularly cooks on the CC setup for the award-winning director himself.
In an intimate setting with luxurious space for just twelve attendees, our private chef will take us on a gastronomic journey over several hours, with a range of gorgeous vegetable, fish and meat dishes for lucky guests, served in a relaxed environment as the sun sets.
THE FOOD THE WINE
To compliment the extraordinary setting and delicious food, Clos Fine Wine will take guests through a tasting of no fewer than twelve wines throughout the evening, with an exceptional range of regions, producers and vintages going back 36 years to 1988.
The evening will begin from 18:30 with a reception of unique Burgundian Crémant made by the English, followed by a very special glass of Taittinger’s stunning Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2011.
Alongside food will follow a triptych of trio wine flights, beginning with two outstanding Chardonnays from opposite sides of the globe (one a global platinum medal winner), and a magnum of Prestige Cuvée Sancerre from 2009. With summer in mind and to transition to reds, we’ll sample a 2022 rosé from volcanic soils in Provence, a multiple gold medal-winning Pinot Noir from New Zealand and an unctuous 2017 Lirac, perfect for summer barbecues.
The vinous climax of the evening is a trio of vintages of arguably Spain’s finest Rioja, CVNE’s Imperial Gran Reserva, where we’ll taste the 2015, 2005 and 1988 vintages , a very rare treat indeed. The dinner will conclude with a tasting of the only fortified Torrontés wine produced in Argentina. All in all, this is a line-up of twelve outstanding bottles that serious wine lovers should not miss out on.
