Φωτιές: Στις 23 Δεκεμβρίου, πλήθος κόσμου κατακλύζει τους δρόμους της πόλης, γυρίζοντας από φωτιά σε φωτιά, χορεύοντας και πίνοντας τοπικό κρασί και τρώγοντας παραδοσιακή φασολάδα.

Μπαμπάρια: Λαμβάνουν χώρα την Πρωτοχρονιά στην κοινότητα Παπαγιάννη και είναι το πρώτο καρναβάλι του χρόνου. Άνθρωποι ντυμένοι με προβιές και μάσκες γυρίζουν από γειτονιά σε γειτονιά και πειράζουν όποιον βρουν στον δρόμο τους. Έθιμο της Αρκούδας: Το πρωί της Πρωτοχρονιάς όλοι πλένονται με τρεχούμενο νερό, γιατί την ημέρα αυτή γέννησε η αρκούδα, η οποία στη συνέχεια πλύθηκε. Έτσι, τα νερά που τρέχουν κουβαλούν τη δύναμή της, που την αποκτούμε εμείς. Σήμερα, σε πολλά χωριά της περιοχής κάνουν τηγανίτες (Πολυπόταμος, Άλωνα, Τρίβουνο κλπ.), που τις τρώνε μετά τον εκκλησιασμό, ώστε η αρκούδα να μην κάνει ζημιές στα κτήματα και τα γεννήματα.

Θεοφάνια: Την ημέρα των Θεοφανίων, με άλογα, οι κάτοικοι θα πιάσουν τον σταυρό στο ποτάμι.

On this day, in many villages of the region they make pancakes (Polypotamo, Alona, Trivouno, etc.), which they eat after the church service, so that the bear does no damage to the farms or crops.

Epiphany: On the day of the Epiphany, the residents wade in the river on horseback, to rescue the cross.

Γιορτή του Κλήδωνα: Στις 24 Ιουνίου στο γενέθλιο του Αγίου Ιωάν- νου του Προδρόμου έχουμε τη γιορτή του Κλήδωνα στο Φλάμπουρο.

Εδώ, όπως και στη Δροσοπηγή, την τελευταία Κυριακή της Αποκριάς ανάβουν φωτιές, τις λεγόμενες «Τζιουντζιουνάτε».
