Στο τοπίο των Πρεσπών που ύμνησε ο Παλαμάς* και βασιλεύει η ηρεμία και το υδάτινο στοιχείο, αξίζει να απολαύσει κανείς τη θέα στις λίμνες, ιδιαίτερα από τις εξής θέσεις: στο Περβάλι κατά την είσοδο στο λεκανοπέδιο, στο ύψωμα Καλέ (Κ. Ναλπαντίδης), στον λόφο του Αγίου Ιωάννη στον Λαιμό, στη στροφή πριν τον Αϊ-Γιώργη, στους Ψαράδες και το εκκλησάκι της Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου πάνω από τον Άγιο Γερμανό. Ένας επίγειος παράδεισος σπάνιων πουλιών και όχι μόνο σας περιμένει για ορνιθοπαρατήρηση ιδίως την άνοιξη και το καλοκαίρι. Το αποκορύφωμα είναι βέβαια οι τεράστιες αποικίες με χιλιάδες φωλιές αργυροπελεκάνων (η μεγαλύτερη στον κόσμο) και ροδοπελεκάνων που μπορεί κάποιος να παρατηρήσει από τον λόφο της Κρίνας με κιάλια ή τηλεσκόπιο. Άλλα σημεία είναι η Κούλα όπου μπορεί να δει κανείς διά- φορα είδη ερωδιών αλλά και τα δύο είδη πελεκάνων να μετακινούνται από τις φωλιές προς τους χώρους εκτροφής και πίσω, ο δρόμος μετά τη στροφή για Ψαράδες, ο κόλπος των Ψαράδων, το παραλίμνιο δάσος και η Σλάτινα, ο δρόμος από την Πύλη προς τη Δασερή, η πεζογέφυρα του Αγίου Αχιλλείου και η Μικρολίμνη. ενώ και στη Μικρολίμνη μπορείτε να προσεγγίσετε με ηλιακό σκάφος και από ασφα - λή απόσταση το ακατοίκητο Βιδρονήσι που φιλοξενεί μεγάλη αποικία κορμοράνων αλλά και τη μόνη αποικία ασημόγλαρων σε γλυκά νερά.

This region is a timeless travel destination for nature lovers throughout the year.

In Prespes’ landscape, praised by Greek poet Kostis Palamas*, in which tranquility and the aquatic element prevail, it is worth enjoying the view of the lakes especially from the specific view points such as in Pervali at the entrance to the basin, on the Kale hill (K. Nalpantidis), on the hill of Agios Ioannis in Laimos, at the turn before Ai Giorgis in Psarades and in the small Church of the Dormition of Virgin Mary above Agios Germanos.

A paradise on earth with rare birds and other species awaits you for bird watching, especially during the spring and summer. The hightlight of the region is the huge colonies and the thousands of nests of Dalmatian pelicans (the largest colony in the world) and the Great white pelicans, which are visible from the hill of Krina with binoculars or a telescope during the spring or summer. One can observe different species of herons and the two aforementioned pelican species which move from their nests to their breeding ground and back at Koula, on the road after the turn leading to Psarades, at the Psarades bay, on the lakeside forest and at Slatina, the road from the Pyli to Daseri, on the footbridge of Agios Achillios as well as at Mikrolimni.

Το καλοκαίρι θα κολυμπήσετε στα καθαρά νερά της Μεγάλης Πρέσπας, σε μία από τις πολυάριθμες φυσικές παραλίες κοντά στις εκβολές του ποταμού του Αγίου Γερμανού, ενώ μπορείτε επίσης να κάνετε καγιάκ και κανό.

Το φθινόπωρο θα απολαύσετε την αποθέωση της φύσης στην περιοχή μέσα από ένα δίκτυο σηματοδοτημένων μονοπατιών. Ορειβασία και ορεινή ποδηλασία έχουν βρει τον προορισμό τους, ενώ η πτήση με αιωρόπτερο δίνει τη δυνατότητα να απολαύσει κανείς το τοπίο νιώθοντας να εκλύονται μεγάλες δόσεις αδρεναλίνης.

From Krina you can also take the solar-electric boat of the Municipality of Prespes and take a trip around Agios Achillios, while at Mikrolimni with the same solar boat you will approach the uninhabited Vidronisi from a safe distance, as it used to be home to a large colony of cormorants, as well as the only colony of herring gulls in fresh water.

During the summer, you can swim in the clear waters of Great Prespa, at one of the numerous natural beaches near the mouth of the Agios Germanos River, and you can also go for kayaking and canoeing on the lake.

In the autumn you will enjoy the apotheosis of nature in all its glory by walking through a network of marked paths, but also with mountaineering and mountain biking. Hang gliding is also available, so you can enjoy the scenery with high doses of adrenaline.

Τον χειμώνα, το Χιονοδρομικό Κέντρο Βίγλας-Πισοδερίου προσφέρεται για σκι και κάθε είδους δραστηριότητα στο χιόνι, αφού διαθέτει δύο σαλέ, πέντε αναβατήρες και έντεκα πίστες διαφόρων επιπέδων δυσκολίας (μια μαύρη αγωνιστική πίστα, τρεις κόκκινες, μία μπλέ, μία πράσινη, δύο πίστες δρόμου αντοχής, δύο πίστες εκμάθησης και μία πίστα ειδικά για snowmobile). Κάθε Παρασκευή, Σάββατο και αργίες, οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να κάνουν νυχτερινό σκι από τις 21:00 έως και τη 01:00 στην κεντρική πίστα.

During the winter, the Vigla-Pisoderi Ski Resort offers skiing and all kinds of snow activities as it has two chalets, five lifts and eleven tracks of various levels of difficulty (a black competition track, three red, one blue, one green, two road endurance tracks, two learning tracks and one track specifically for snowmobiles). Every Friday, Saturday and on public holidays, guests can enjoy night skiing from 21:00 until 01:00 on the main track.
