Τα «Πρέσπεια»: Ετήσιες πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις εθνικής εμβέλειας που γίνονται στον Άγιο Αχίλλειο. Λαμβάνουν χώρα συνήθως το τελευταίο Σαββατοκύριακο του Αυγούστου.

Γιορτή Φασολιού και Τσιρονιού: Στις αρχές Σεπτεμβρίου, στον Λαιμό, έδρα του Δήμου Πρεσπών, πραγματοποιείται γιορτή που είναι αφιερωμένη στα δύο αυτά τοπικά προϊόντα. Οι επισκέπτες έχουν την ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσουν νόστιμα εδέσματα, μαγειρεμένα με παραδοσιακές συνταγές και να χορέψουν υπό τους ήχους των παραδοσιακών χάλκινων της περιοχής. The “Prespeia”: Annual national cultural events held in Agios Achilleios. They usually take place on the last weekend of August.

Bean and Prespa bleak (tsironi) festival: In early September, a celebration takes place at Laimos, which is the seat of the Municipality of Prespes, celebrating these two local products. Visitors have the opportunity to taste delicious dishes, cooked with traditional recipes and dance to the sounds of traditional brass bands.

Shrove Monday: The hill of Agios Ioannis near Laimos, the hill of Agios Achilleios above the ruins of the homonymous basilica and the hill of Kale (the K. Nalpantidis hill), near Lefkonas, are excellent spots for a picnic with Lenten delicacies and for kite-flying.

Μάιος: Ο νάρκισσος είναι ένα από τα είδη αυτοφυούς χλωρίδας που προστατεύονται στη χώρα μας, ενώ το λιβάδι των νάρκισσων στην Οξυά των Πρεσπών προστατεύεται ως φυσικός σχηματισμός (Σ3) του Εθνι- κού Πάρκου Πρεσπών. Η ανθοφορία του την περίοδο του Μαΐου μεταμορφώνει το τοπίο της περιοχής. Ο Δήμος Πρεσπών οργανώνει τη γιορτή του νάρκισσου απέναντι από το λιβάδι.

Δεκέμβριος: Την παραμονή των Χριστουγέννων και την Πρωτοχρονιά μεγάλες φωτιές ανάβουν στα χωριά των Πρεσπών που μαλακώνουν τον βαρύ χειμώνα της περιοχής. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο γιορτάζεται ο ερχομός του Χριστού (ή διαιωνίζονται τα Σατουρνάλια της αρχαία εποχής) με πολλή

May: The daffodil is a native flora species protected in our country, while the daffodil meadow in Oxya is protected as a natural formation (S3) of the Prespa National Park. It blooms in May and transforms beautifully the landscape, offering the opportunity to the Municipality of Prespes to organize the daffodil festival opposite the meadow.

December: On Christmas and New Year's Day Eve, bonfires lit in the villages of Prespa which soothe the heavy winter by celebrating the birth of Christ (or perpetuating the ancient Saturnalia celebrations) with lots of music and local delicacies, in a feast that lasts until late at night.
