Royal King
Bro. King Kalakaua of Hawaii was born into “Privilege” in 1836; this brother was to be the last in Line in his country. He was known for a convivial personality and liked to sing and play the ukulele. During his career he assisted in bringing great prosperity and education to the Kingdom. He was one of the very few monarchs in history, outside Europe, to preside over a Sovereign Country and a Lodge simultaneously.
