Getting Started with Photoshop (Text Answers for 1 - 4) (answers given are for the Mac OS version of Photoshop CC) 1.

How would you change the number of operations saved in the History panel? Click on Photoshop > Preferences > Performance. Under the History & Cache sub-panel, click in the History States field and type the desired number of operations to be saved by the History panel, or click on the pull-down menu and then drag the triangle on the slider until you reach your desired number.

How would you open a recently accessed image? Click on File > Open Recent > (choose the name of the recent file).

What image-editing functions can you perform in Bridge? Mention 3. Among other things, Adobe Bridge CC may be used to perform the following editing functions: Rotation (90 degrees CW/CCW), Deletion (by selecting the file(s) and clicking the trash can icon), Batch Rename (through the menu represented by the stacked pages icon, and then clicking Batch Rename).

Describe the steps you would take to create a new image in Photoshop as follows: width - 8 inches; height - 11 inches; background - white. Click on File > New... In the New dialogue, choose an appropriate Name for your file, and then check the pull-down menu next to width. If it is not indicating inches, then click on it and switch the units to inches. Repeat this step for Height. Click in the Width field and enter “8” and then Enter (or Return). In the Height field and enter “11” and then Enter. If the Background Contents pull-down menu doesn’t already inidcate “White” then click on that menu and change it to “White.” Double-check/confirm your options are correct, and then click on the “OK” button.
