Selection of LED Stripes

Indoor living area: LED Stripes without coating (Step 1) Moist room version: LED Stripes with coating (Step 1) (also useable for indoor living areas, provides a better protection against moisture and dust)

Step 2: Select the connector (connection cable)

Step 1: Select the LED Stripes – straight or angular (length, light colour and quantity)

Quantity and length of the LED Stripes

Take the measurements of the object that you want to illuminate and choose the quantity of straight LED Stripes accordingly. (Step 1). If the object to be illuminated has corners, please choose angular LED Stripes (Step 1) or a connecting cable (Step 2).

All angular LED Stripes have a coating. Nevertheless, you can connect them with LED Stripes without coating (Step 2).

Selection of the light colour

_ Stripes with RGB colour changer _ White LED Stripes with 3000 Kelvin (warm white light) _ White LED Stripes with 6400 Kelvin (cold white light)

_ Remote control: RGB colour changer _ Remote control: white light (3000 or 6400 Kelvin) _ Motion sensor: only for white light

Remote controls have an on/off switch as well as a dimming function. The motion sensor can`t be combined with a remote control.

Selection of the driver

Add the wattage of all needed LED Stripes (straight and angular) and choose the corresponding driver (Step 4) – 30 W, 48 W or 60 W. Attention: Wattage of the driver must be higher than the combined amount of the wattage of all LED Stripes.

With coated LED Stripes and insulated connecting cables you can install a light system in areas with splash water. The heat shrink tube protects the connections between LED Stripes and cables, or between two LED Stripes.

Please only cut the LED Stripes at the designated marks.

Open front part, connect it with shortened LED Stripe and close it again.

If you connect LED Stripes again, please check whether the polarity is correct.

If you combine the aluminium rail with coated stripes, you can also use it in moisture areas. Attention: Not to be used in wet areas or underwater.

Stylish aluminium rail for a unique light The aluminium rail (1 m) is especially qualified for LED Stripes that are installed in a visible area. It gives the LED Stripes a special and elegant touch, diffuses the light and lends the room a soft and harmonic ambience. You can use all EGLO LED Stripes Modules in combination with the aluminium rail. You can easily install the aluminium rail with the mounting clips.

Endless possibilities With the junction box you can connect 4 LED Stripes and synchronise them. With the 50 cm connection cables you also have the possibility to combine areas which are a long way away from each other. Attention: the wattage of all LED Stripes you have used must not exceed the wattage of the driver.

In addition to the aluminium rail you get suitable end and connecting parts, as well as stoppers that allow a vertical installation of the rail.

Trockener Wohnraumbereich: LED Stripes ohne Kunststoffschutz (Schritt 1)

Menge und Länge der LED Stripes

Messen Sie das zu beleuchtende Objekt aus und wählen Sie die Menge an geraden LED Stripes (Schritt 1). Verläuft Ihr Lichtsystem um die Ecke, wählen Sie zusätzlich eckige LED Stripes (Schritt 1) oder Verbinder (Schritt 2) aus.

Eckige LED Stripes gibt es nur mit Kunststoffschutz, sie sind aber dennoch verbindbar mit LED Stripes ohne Kunststoffschutz. LED Stripes ohne Kunststoffschutz sind kürzbar. Dazu gibt es passende Verbinder (Step 2). Die maximale Länge der Stripes in einer Reihe beträgt 5 Meter.

Auswahl der Lichtfarbe

_ Stripes mit RGB-Farbwechsler _ Weiße LED Stripes mit 3000 Kelvin (Warmweißlicht) _ Weiße LED Stripes mit 6400 Kelvin (Kaltweißlicht)

_ Fernbedienung: RGB-Farbwechsel _ Fernbedienung: Weißlicht (3000 od. 6400 Kelvin) _ Bewegungsmelder: nur für Weißlicht

Fernbedienung ist mit on/off Schalter sowie Dimmfunktion ausgestattet. Der Bewegungsmelder ist nicht mit der Fernbedienung kombinierbar.

Mit den kunststoffbeschichteten Stripes und isolierten Verbindungskabeln können Sie auch in Bereichen mit Spritzwasser ein LED Stripe Lichtsystem installieren. Der Schrumpfschlauch sichert Verbindungsbereiche von LED Stripes und Kabeln.

LED Stripes bitte ausschließlich an der dafür vorgesehenen Stelle kürzen.

Bei Wiederverbinden von Stripes ist auf die Polung zu achten.

Wird die Aluschiene mit beschichteten Stripes kombiniert, ist natürlich auch diese im Feuchtigkeitsbereich einsetzbar. Achtung: Nicht einsetzbar für Nassbereiche oder Unterwasser.

Stilvolle Aluschiene für effektvolles Licht Besonders geeignet ist die 1 m lange Aluschiene für LED Stripes, die sich im sichtbaren Bereich befinden. Sie verleiht den LED Stripes ein elgantes Aussehen, streut das Licht und lässt es sanft und homogen wirken. Es können alle EGLO LED Stripes Module in die Aluschiene gelegt werden. Mit den enthaltenen Befestigungsclips ist die Aluschiene leicht zu montieren. Die Eckverbindungen vervollständigen das optische Bild bei umfangreichen Lichtsystemen. Als Zubehör zur Aluschiene erhalten Sie zudem Rutschsicherungen, die ein vertikales Montieren der Aluschiene ermöglichen, und passende Abschluss- und Verbindungsstücke.

Unendliche Variationsmöglichkeiten Sie wollen unabhängige Regalsysteme gemeinsam beleuchten, ein sternförmiges Beleuchtungssystem anlegen oder Schranksysteme in Breite, Höhe und Länge beleuchten? Dann erstellen Sie diese ganz einfach mit der Junction Box. An die Junction Box können Sie bis zu 4 Stripes anschließen und synchron schalten. Mit den 50 cm langen Verbindungskabeln können Sie auch weiter auseinanderliegende Bereiche mit LED Stripes gemeinsam beleuchten. Beachten Sie bitte, dass die kumulierte Wattzahl der verwendeten Stripes das genutzte Netzteil nicht überschreitet. 13
