MEATER
Logo Iterations At the beginning, I struggled coming up with a concept, every idea from my thumbnails that I liked, just didn’t work out well when illustrated on the computer, eventually I decided to refine my grill one with the wi-fi symbol into a simple way that still showed off the technology side of Meater.

Mood Board The mood board is meant to create the mood of the identity and brand you are creating. For mine, I wanted to show the technology aspect of Meater and the advanced aspects of this product compared to any other meat thermometers. I used images that show the technology and simplicity of meater. I showed the fact that Meater is wireless and able to send notifications to your smart phone.

Business Card I struggled a lot with my business card, and went through way too many different ideas. I wanted my business card to relate well with the brand and with the brochure all together. In the end I decided to go with a simple and refined style kind of like I did with my logo.
Finished Business Card My business card went through way too many changes to include in the process book. With this final one. I went with a very simplistic design that used the same colors from my logo system, which I found worked really well in creating a business card that fit with everything else.
Brochure Iteration 1 By just seeing or hearing the name “Meater” not many peoples first guess would be a high tech wireless meat thermometer. So with this brochure, I wanted it to be something simple and easy to unerstand. I made it a small booklet so it could be something that could possibly be handed out with a business card. I used the Meater Block as the cover to show that Meater is rechargeable and easily stored without having to describe that in depth within the brochure. When I first started on it I used the same style and look as my first business card, which didn’t really work for the brochure or business card. The first iteration was unsuccessful in my opinion because printing didn’t work out the way I wanted it to. So with printing I had to re arrange my layouts in a printable way and I didn’t take the time to realign my grids which just look terrible over all.
Brochure Final With the final brochure, I didn’t change a whole lot on the front and back cover. But I changed a lot within the brochure. I made the colors match the colors of the logo system and the added a grid system to organize the text and other elements. I removed some images and adjusted things to be more organized and less hectic. I feel that this works much better because it goes along with the rest of the brand a lot more and is much more easy to read. I had the background white and then decided to go with a gray from the background of my logo and business card. For the types, I decided to stay with the same font family but different sizes being Light condensed, light and black.
