WHO WE ARE CNC-Motorsports is a high performance speed shop based out of Brookings, SD. We are unique to the industry in that we combine our parts warehouse, high performance machine shop, and years of extensive knowledge to bring you the best engines, short blocks, and rotating assemblies on the market today. WHERE WE BEGAN CNC-Motorsports began with the vision of creating a onestop shop where automotive enthusiasts of all kinds could find high quality, high-performance parts at great prices, as well as the information they need to use them. Now, 15 years later, we have expanded to do business all over the world for circle track, drag race, road race, autocross, truck/tractor pull, marine, and a wide variety of street applications.

P-Series bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 bearing family and are intended for high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are built on steel backings with extra-thin overlays to prevent overlay fatigue. If you’re building up a Dart block and want the best bearings with the correct sizing, then you want Dart cam bearings. They’re fully grooved, made from steel-backed babbit, and specifically designed for high performance use. To all of this, Dart adds their own moly-PTFE coating for even better performance and durability. This coating is approximately 0.0005 in. thick, which translates into 0.001 in. less overall clearance.

Ford Screen Windage Trays

Ford uses a front mounted oil pump, which requires a long pickup tube to reach the rear sump. In most applications routing the pickup to the best location in the sump makes it difficult to build a good pan mounted windage tray because the pickup would have to pass through the tray and therefore leave a large opening. Mounting the tray on the main caps allows the pickup to pass under the tray resulting in a more complete separation of the rotating assembly and the oil.
