Hey All-Stars! Can you believe it’s already been a month since we were last reunited at Summer Board? I definitely can’t. I hope that August has treated all of you well because it is official back-to-school season. And everybody should know that this means… dues! Yes, dues are right around the corner. This newsletter will feature some very important information on dues that you should all know! These next couple of months are going to be quite strenuous for all of us — applying for college, chartering clubs, recruiting new members, and balancing our personal lives with academics. Whether you think it is true or not, time actually flashes before your eyes; so, utilize the time you have to maximize your work to its fullest potential! And remember, stop and smell the roses, whenever possible of course. I have faith in all of you!

Best of luck,

At the beginning of August, we District Board All-Stars reunited once again at our Summer Board meeting in Rancho Cucamonga. There, we did extensive planning on district events, such as Fall Rally North/South and District Convention. Every single committee presented its progress to the entire Board of Directors and Kiwanis advisors.

I was so grateful that we all got to spend one weekend together. Beyond all the discussions and presentations, we were all able to bond with one another, one way or the other. From busting out dance moves to messing around with CNH Opportunibees during dinner break, there was no doubt that it was a weekend to remember. With all the work that we have done so far, I can say that I am so proud of what we have accomplished and am even more eager to see KIWIN’S grow stronger and better each and every day.

During the board meeting, the District Board also discussed and formulated new KIWIN’S events, such as PTP Education Days! We also got to meet our Once more, thank you so much to two newest district leaders, Dennis the adults who chaperoned and adTakeshita and Jade Wong, who will vised us, you rock our socks! both be representing as Key Leader Ambassadors for the KIWIN’S District. P.S. Elaine, Brett, Mr. Lewis, Ms. Turner, and Ms. Ventura, we miss you!
