❱ The IFC is a grassroots organization and resource in the emergency food network of the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County, providing referral services to individuals in need and donated food for numerous food pantries and meal programs, many who are very small and under-resourced. The organization continues to try to help alleviate some of the community’s food insecurity issues by providing food at no charge to local pantries, high-rise low-income housing properties, churches, and emergency requests from local agency representatives.
