COACH EXPECTATIONS



To bring to life our Coach Narrative—our Purpose, Values and Vision— we are collectively changing the way we work to become the company that defines modern luxury. To be successful, we need to enact the narrative at an individual level. That’s why we’re launching our new Coach Expectations: to describe what we expect from one another using a common vocabulary that reflects our values and guides our behaviors. Coach Expectations represent Coach at its best. They are aspirational (and achievable) and will drive us to grow and improve. Our Expectations guide behaviors across three key roles: individual contributor, people manager and leader. They empower all of us to create a distinctly modern Coach culture.

WE SEE POSSIBILITY IN THE IMPOSSIBLE

Expectations: • Take on goals that align to and support Coach’s priorities. Understand and stay connected to the vision, even when priorities change. • Be open-minded when faced with challenge and ambiguity; proactively identify and recommend options. • Contribute to innovative thinking and creative problem solving. • Seek opportunities to learn about external practices to inform and improve how Coach executes to win. WE NURTURE AUTHENTICITY

Expectations: • Demonstrate open and authentic communication. • Deliver on accountabilities and commitments. Understand strengths and leverage them to contribute to team and personal success. • Build a network beyond own team. Consider cross-functional needs and broader context when making decisions. • Take charge of own development. Offer and ask for balanced feedback from peers, partners and direct manager.


WE INTEGRATE INDIVIDUALITY AND TEAMWORK

Expectations: • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day responsibilities; partner with manager and team to focus on priorities. • Propose and deliver solutions within own area of responsibility, using judgment when working with less-than-perfect information. • Share ideas and collaborate with others. Communicate own perspective with clarity and impact. • Operate as a reliable, trusted team member. Recognize others’ successes. WE FUSE CREATIVITY AND LOGIC

Expectations: • Execute to a high standard without losing speed or agility, drawing on a global mindset, own instincts and experience. • Drive continuous improvement within area of responsibility; ask questions and offer ideas. • Show confidence in sharing your opinion and making decisions within own area of responsibility. • Know aspirations and personal development areas and ask for support from team, mentors and role-models. Recognize and learn from mistakes.

Expectations: • Establish a consistent and compelling management style. • Provide teams with the direction and authority they need to execute independently; demonstrate trust in their good judgment. • Build a diverse global network, stepping beyond day-to-day activities to invest in genuine, rewarding relationships. • Know own strengths and development areas and take action to build knowledge and abilities. Request feedback from different sources.

Expectations: • Translate priorities into ambitious and achievable goals for team members. Help people understand the broader context and stay connected to the vision even through times of ambiguity. • Reduce complexity, stop activities that do not contribute to Coach’s priorities and help people focus on what matters most. • Coach and support others’ growth by exploring aspirations, facilitating development and offering regular balanced feedback. • Recognize and reward others’ successes, balanced with the courage to directly address under-performance or failure to meet objectives. Expectations: • Role-model and guide team to be innovative, creative and independent, while emphasizing a global mindset. • Recognize when to prioritize agility ahead of perfectionism and move to action with less-than-perfect information when appropriate. • Enable self and others to make decisions and execute, even when facing ambiguity. • Use mistakes to create learning opportunities.

Expectations: • Envision future potential, anticipate issues and opportunities, and push Coach to win in the market. • Communicate a vision and set clear expectations that inspire and engage employees. • Drive transformational change, sponsor change initiatives, and enable others to innovate. • Motivate teams to persevere despite obstacles and ambiguity; drive clarity and remove roadblocks. WE NURTURE AUTHENTICITY

Expectations: • Demonstrate a consistent and compelling leadership style and purpose. • Role-model a culture of accountability and empowerment; demonstrate trust in others at all levels of the business. • Cultivate a broad network, build trust and inspire commitment internally and externally. • Own self-development journey and demonstrate courage by giving and asking for honest feedback.

Expectations: • Develop high-performing teams where multiple perspectives are valued. Champion cross-functional teamwork and break down silos. • Be a talent champion and invest in developing future generations of leaders. • Set priorities, identify resources to see initiatives through and continually assess the effectiveness and efficiency of work efforts. • Recognize and reward positive contributions; and have direct conversations when people or teams fall short of expectations.
