I _____________________________________ commit to sticking with my 2021 goals through thick and thin, for the entire year, until I achieve them. I understand that I may be faced with fear, doubt, worry, confusion, overwhelm and a variety of other emotions that will cause me to want to quit, but I will not give up on my goals because of them. Instead, I will face those emotions and figure out how to keep moving forward despite them. When I make mistakes and experience failure or disappointment I promise to learn the lessons in each situation, allow those lessons to help me grow and keep moving forward toward achieving my goals. I will try to avoid negative self talk on days that I don’t follow through or when things do not turn out as planned. I will focus on becoming more self-aware so that I can better understand why I make the decisions that I make, and will use the learned self-coaching techniques so that I can make better choices in the future. I understand that all of this will take a lot of hard work and require me to leave my comfort zone, which I will not want to do, but I will do it anyway. I also understand that I am not in this alone, and I will use the online sessions and the Goal Gossip group to help keep me motivated, and to motivate others who are also working toward their goals. This Playbook is designed to coach and guide you toward achieving the goals that are most important to you. Throughout this Playbook you will find a variety of tools that can help you increase your self-awareness, form new habits, overcome challenges to reaching your goals, and improve your overall satisfaction in various areas of your life. As a Life Coach I’ve learned a variety of self-coaching techniques that can keep you moving forward toward your goals. I will share some of those techniques with you throughout the Playbook & in the live sessions accessible through the Art of Accomplishing Goals online program. The live sessions will be offered to individuals enrolled in The Art of Accomplishing Goals online program. The online sessions will offer a variety of self-coaching techniques that can assist you with managing emotional roadblocks that you may encounter while working toward your goals. I refer to emotions such as self doubt, fear, confusion, worry, shame, inadequacy and overwhelm as emotional roadblocks. I’ll share techniques on how to overcome all of them. I am DeAnn Day, a Certified Life Coach, and I will be your host at each of the live online sessions. During the live online sessions we’ll cover a variety of topics that will help you get better results in your life. Topics may include: How to Self Coach / Becoming Your Future Self / Developing a Growth Mindset Fail Your Way to Success / Time Management Moves Facing Your Fears / Creating Healthy Habits Creating Confidence & more The following tools can be found in this Playbook: Accomplishments & Celebrations - List all of your accomplishments & all of the ways that you’ll celebrate them. Annual Score Tracker - Insert scores from the Monthly Check-In, & see how your scores change throughout the year. Habit Tracker - Identify new habits you want to form that will help you grow &/or move forward toward achieving your goals. List the habits in the weekly tracker, make a mark in the tracker on each day that you practice the habit. Intentional Thoughts & Inspirational Quotes - This is a space to write your intentional thoughts & quotes that inspire you. Re-read them often to help you develop the mindset you need to get more of the results you want in your life. Monthly Check-In - Reflect on how you progressed throughout the month & rate your satisfaction in 8 areas of your life. This worksheet will increase your awareness & help you to plan more intentionally for the upcoming months.

Monthly Goals - Select a monthly goal & follow the 7 Steps to Get It Done to ensure that you accomplish the goal. Thought Management Tool - This tool will allow you to practice thinking more intentionally by identifying your negative thoughts & replacing them with thoughts that are most serving to you. Vision Boards - Create visuals of your 1 year & 6 month goals. Look at them often to help keep you motivated. Weekly Goals - Use this section of the workbook to list the top goals you want to focus on for the week.

It’s important that you celebrate the big & small successes you have throughout the year. Planning to celebrate yourself gives you something to look forward to & can help keep you energized as you move from one goal to the next.
