No experience? No problem! Our Foundation programs provide preemployment, entry-level training. Graduates often receive credit for firstlevel apprenticeship technical training which leads to employment.

Earn a Red Seal and work wherever you want.

Red Seal certification is recognized around the world. Apprenticeship technical training (levels one through four) at Coast Mountain College combines traditional classroom instruction and hands-on experience in our well-equipped shops and labs. This interprovincial endorsement allows you to work across Canada as a certified journeyperson.

The Industry Training Authority (ITA) leads and coordinates British Columbia’s skilled trades system. ITA works with employers, apprentices, industry, labour, training providers and government to issue credentials, support apprenticeships, fund programs, set program standards and increase opportunities in the trades.
