A one-of-a-kind traveling culinary competition and tasting event – five chefs, five pigs, five winemakers – to promote sustainable farming of heritage breed pigs. After putting 50 events in the history books, this finetuned flavor train departs for another ten-city tour uniting local farmers, renowned chefs, prominent winemakers, established restaurateurs, brewers, distillers and the pork loving public in a stand-up tasting reception format.

The breakdown of the industry versus consumer is about 50/50. A sold-out event averages 250 tickets sold. Of the 250 tickets sold publicly, 75% are consumer and 25% are industry, using a industry-only discount code. In addition to consumer attendance, approximately 300 influential guests are invited through an avenue of channels (media, judges, restaurant partners, notable influencers and promoters) for a grand total of 550 guests. Our goal is to sustain the education process of heritage breed pigs on the culinary landscape and create opportunities for our sponsors to piggy back on the same influential landscape at a fraction of the cost.

Over 80% of our attendees (32-65, a uent, influential, and educated) are earning $90K+ annual household incomes and enjoy premium culinary experiences regularly. The average spend is $450 per credit card transaction. Since all the events take place on Sunday, partners realize the benefit of holding tickets to a sold-out event that people look forward to each year. Our sponsors use tickets to reward their well-known group of industry professionals including buyers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, chefs, bonafide media and independent business owners known for championing the a responsible-premium lifestyle. The floor at Cochon is a place for new products, teaching ideas and gaining that competitive advantage by education the best buyers in each market. The guests at Cochon are genuinely excited to talk, learn, and listen to brand ambassadors and principles. They ask great questions and each year, we hand-select products including artisan wines, craft cheeses, premium spirits, food products, kitchen wares, and appliances, to work in tandem with the goal to build a better more educated consumer (we have a no flu rule). Together, we encourage young people to reinforce their definition of the luxury lifestyle with responsible choices. CHEFS: The chef community is a vibrant part of the Cochon US Tour. Through events, chefs get local and national media recognition. Being selected to participate is coveted by top chefs and winning the event elevates the chef to the national landscape. From farmers to partners, the climate is welcoming, ranging from friendships to longterm business relationships. Chefs receive approx. $7,500 in associated media. FARMERS: This is our largest success story by far. The first year, Google results on heritage breed pigs consisted of fragmented information. Today, the tour has motivated organizations and farmers to better represent the species and to provide better business marketing practices. By creating ultra-premium, hyper-local annual events, we have created marketing campaigns and business models for a national network of farmers. Farmers now have access to work with new chefs, meet celebrated media personalities, and get annual coverage that they could never attain without the Cochon US Tour. Brady and crew have created a premier food event second to none, that just happens to be a hell of a lot of FUN. Typically, the week is structured by arriving early to visit existing accounts, followed by one day of touring participants of the event, and lastly, making new leads during the event to call on Monday. TOURISM & LOCAL BUSINESS - By keeping our finger on the culinary pulse of America, the tour has been associated with bringing culinary awareness to cities before the larger media conglomerates find the story. Pinpointing a culinary destination, showcasing the best chefs in the region, exposing local artisan producers, is exactly why the national audience is watching Cochon’s every move. The associated media value doubles when we team up with a local agency and hotel partner to market a city as the next culinary destination. CVB’s have benefitted by sponsoring tables / contest at any of the 20 events in the country. HOTELS: As host partners, properties reach the headlines as the Official Host of a high-profile community event.
